That’s why we’re on a mission to certify 2000 teens and young adults as official CoinWise Scholars by 2027! CoinWise Scholars are those who have completed at least one full program within our curriculum and show three key characteristics:
1) An understanding of our curriculum’s core financial concepts and topics.
2) A commitment to their own financial security.
3) A willingness to teach others.

Our Programs & Curriculum
Our curriculum is comprehensive, holistic and two-part. Drawing on a decade of financial industry experience and collaboration with licensed mental health professionals, our curriculum extends beyond numbers to help scholars foster healthy relationships with money based on positive core financial beliefs. We strive for financial competency, and use both financial literacy and wisdom as tools to achieve that goal.
Through engaging and interactive classes, courses, and more, our scholars receive a culturally relevant education that empowers them to develop the life skills, positive money mindset and confidence needed for the future.
Educators and parents alike will appreciate how finance integrates with S.T.E.A.M. curriculum just as much as it does Social and Emotional Learning. Scholars may spend time using financial technology to visualize concepts such as compound interest in one activity, while considering their own value and how to monetize it in a way that serves humanity the next.
In these ways we help our community at every level- from our youth, to the parents and elders who love them, the schools that teach them, and the organizations that serve them. We are honored and grateful to be a part of making the future better for our children through financial competency.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Devin Alphin, also known as Professor D, is a father of two. Concerned about his own children's financial habits. After 14 years in finance beginning as a bank teller, and ending as one of the top wealth managers in the region at a Fortune 100 company; he has integrated his experience into a passion for fostering youth financial competency.
Professor D is committed to making financial education engaging and memorable for teens and young adults. addressing the gap in traditional education.
